Dr. Renyi Zhang is Professor in the Department of Atmospheric Sciences and Department of Chemistry at Texas A&M University (TAMU). He received a Ph.D. from MIT and conducted postdoctoral work at Caltech Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Currently, he holds the Mr. and Mrs. James R. Whatley ’47 Chair in Geosciences and is a University Distinguished Professor.

Yixin Li completed his PhD with our group in 2021. After a postdoc appointment with the Finlayson-Pitts Research Group at the University of California Irvine, he rejoined our team as a research scientist. His current research focuses on understanding the multiphase chemistry in aerosol formation as well as its effect on human health and climate. In his spare time, he enjoys playing badminton, hiking and skiing.

Lijun Zhao holds a B.S in Atmospheric Physics from the Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology and a M.S. in Global Environmental Change from Beijing Normal University. Currently her research focuses on using models and observation to study aerosol-cloud-precipitation interactions and cloud microphysics. Lijun’s favorite pastimes are hiking and photography.

Bianca Aridjis-Olivos graduated with degrees in Chemistry (B.S.) and Spanish (B.A.) from the University of Dallas. She is currently studying the mechanisms of NPF and secondary organic aerosols (SOA) from biogenic volatile organic compounds. Outside the lab, Bianca is a cellist and a procedural drama show enthusiast.

Maisha Kabir earned her B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Civil Engineering from Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology in Chittagong, Bangladesh. Her research focuses on understanding the health impacts of air pollution and developing strategies to mitigate these risks, with a broader aim of improving environmental health. In her free time, Maisha enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time outdoors.

Nadia Small graduated with B.S. degrees in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Agnes Scott College. She aims to combine her background in cell biology and medicinal chemistry with her interest in meteorology. Beyond research, Nadia enjoys rock climbing and has explored studies on psychoactive mushrooms.
